CARER SUPPORT GROUPS
All of our groups are facilitated by a DISC staff member, we aim to provide a safe space to talk about your role as a carer and to also gain information and support. We provide tea, coffee and biscuits. (vegan & gluten free options)
All of our sessions are totally free of charge.
There is no need to book a place for our monthly Carer Support Groups, you are welcome to just come along!

GROUP UPDATE:
Both Eastbourne Groups (previously The Beacon Shopping Centre and Tescos Lottbridge Drove) have changed venue from February. Please see the poster below.
Bexhill Carers Support Group (previously held at Dennis Rankin Room, St Augustines) will be now held in our office space at the Robsack Centre on the same date and time for the time being (Robsack Centre, 4th Wednesday of the month 10-11:30am)

EASTBOURNE
This is a new support group in the Eastbourne area to meet the need of carers located outside of the town centre. Free parking available in the car park. For carers only.
EASTBOURNE
(Town Centre)
This is a new venue for our Eastbourne Town Centre group, parking is available at The Beacon Shopping Centre. Eastbourne Train Station and main bus stop is a short walk away. For carers only.
SEAFORD
This is a new support group to meet the need of carers in the Seaford area. Street parking is available on the roads near the church, next to Tesco's. For carers only.
ROBERTSBRIDGE
This group meets upstairs in the village hall, there are steps to enter this room so it is not fully accessible. Free parking available in the car park. For carers only.
RYE
This group used to meet at The Hub on Rye Hill but from April will meet at Tilling Green. This venue offers free parking outside. For carers only.
UCKFIELD
This is a new support group location to meet the need of carers in the Uckfield area. Free parking is available at Luxford Field car park 2 minutes walk away. Fully accessible building. For carers only.
CROWBOROUGH
This venue is fully accessible and parking is available at near by supermarkets. For carers only.
HAILSHAM
This venue is fully accessible and parking is available in the car park. For carers only.
Craft Club for Carers
This group is a safe, relaxed and creative space for carers to come along to start, finish or learn a craft. This is an informal setting to relax and chat with friends.
Free of charge and includes hot drinks & biscuits.
