Do you care for someone living with Dementia either at home, or in a Residential Care Home?
We have different groups available for any carer or families of those with Dementia (or pre diagnosis) based in East Sussex. We also offer 1-1
Zoom/phone support if you live anywhere else in the UK or internationally.
DISC is a support service for the Carers and former Carers of people living with Dementia. We will support you from the journey to diagnosis until the end of your caring role.
Information
For Carers who cannot or would prefer not to attend a support group, we can offer information, support and
signposting over the phone, post or
through email.
Support Groups and Carer Courses
DISC currently provides multiple
facilitated support groups per
month for the Carers of people
living with Dementia. We will
support you from pre-diagnosis
all the way through and beyond
your caring journey.
Professional Training
Whilst our support for carers remains free of charge we also provide paid for tailored packages for corporate staff training.

Dementia is a uniquely devastating group of diseases, with Alzheimers being both the most common form and most well-known. More information available on our courses.
What are the aims of DISC?
DISC’s main aim to is provide a free support service for the carers of people with Dementia. We aim to provide a friendly, safe and inclusive space for carers and those living with Dementia.
